After researching similar moving options (PODs, Uhaul, Penske, Atlas) I settled with U-Pack. Boy, am I glad I did! From the outset, recommendations between containers and trailer space were professional and spot on. I reserved 20 feet in the 28 foot trailer and used only 18 feet and they only charged for the 18 feet. From trailer drop off at my home in SoCal to delivery in Loveland, CO., I couldn't have asked for better service or better people. I definitely recommend U-Pack to anyone wanti... See Moreng to move via DIY. Less than half the price of professional movers. Be sure to follow their instructions and videos on packing your belongings and you won't be sorry at all. All of mine arrived at the destination in great shape and they delivered where and when I wanted. Can't ask for more!

If I ever had to do it again, (and I hope I never have to), I would use U-Pack again. However I would purchase actual, uniform MOVING BOXES rather than random sized boxes because they were harder to stack tightly. The how-to videos were helpful but none of them showed how to cope with large, odd shaped items like easy chairs, bikes, patio tables, etc. We managed ok though. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend them for inexpensive, ease of use, no headache, no hassle long distance moving.
