Adding Storage to Your U-Pack Move

U-Pack storage saves you the hassle and hard work of moving in and out of a traditional storage unit. Instead of loading and unloading multiple times, you can store right in the ReloCube or trailer for as long as you need.

Here’s how it works: You load your belongings inside the equipment. We’ll transport and store it at one of our secure service centers at origin, at destination, or while in transit. The items will stay inside the equipment until you’re ready for them. When you’re ready, just give us a call, and we’ll deliver them!

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on the number of trailers/ReloCubes you place into storage. Storage starts once your shipment arrives at the service center, and it’s billed every 30 days from there. Note that storage pricing is not prorated. For additional pricing information, call 888-570-7422888-570-7422.

Will it be climate-controlled?

U-Pack storage locations are not climate controlled, which isn’t a problem for most household goods. But, if you’re moving any temperature-sensitive items, you may consider bringing them with you rather than putting them in the equipment.

Can I put my own lock on the equipment while it’s in storage?

Yes, you may use your own lock on the trailer and ReloCube. If you’re storing in a trailer, you’ll place the lock on the shipment divider wall (bulkhead) inside the trailer, but the trailer doors will be secured with our lock while it’s traveling and in storage. Only your lock will be used with the ReloCube.

Do I have access to my items while they’re in storage?

Once your shipment is in storage, you will not have access to it until it’s delivered to your destination. We recommend taking any important documents, valuables or other important items with you.

How do I cancel my storage reservation?

If you added storage to your reservation, but no longer need it, it’s easy to cancel before the move. Simply call 888-570-7422888-570-7422, or email moving@upack.com to let us know.
