How trailer pricing works 

One of the best things about U-Pack moving trailers is their flexibility. Each trailer has 28 linear feet of available space for your belongings, but you can use as little as 5 linear feet.  

Quotes include the estimated footage you’ll need based on your home size, but if you use more or less, the price will be adjusted according to the per-foot rate on your reservation. For example, if you got a quote for 14 linear feet and had a $100 per-foot rate, you would save $100 if you used 13 feet and would pay $100 more if you used 15 feet.

As of July 2024, the average cost for 17 linear feet* in a U-Pack moving trailer was $4,300. Moving prices will vary based on the date, distance and size of your home.  

*Recommended for 1,500-1,800 square-foot homes.
