Moved from Iowa to Florida and U-Pack was great. Dropped off the pods and picked them up. Delivered them to new address in Florida. Saved me over $1500 over next cheapest option and I did not have to drive a truck pulling a car carrier in parts of the country I am not real familiar with. Made an unexpected stressful move a lot easier. I would highly recommend U-Pack. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drivers were excellent.
It's a great compromise between renting a uhaul and hiring a mover, especially if you need a lot of space and are afraid of maxing out your uhaul capacity. We reserved the entire trailer trailer at what we felt was a reasonable price and then saved $240 because we didn't use all the space. So much nicer than the stress of driving a giant truck cross country (and paying for all that gas)! They estimate 3-5 days off transit time, and I was surprised by how fast our stuff arrived.
Hands down the best moving experience I have ever had! It was so easy that at one point I called just to ask if I was missing something -- too easy and too economical! From the customer service/sales folks who organize the big details to the local terminal workers who help you sweat the small stuff (drop off times, location, etc.) things went like clockwork. Big shout out to Bob in Salisbury who didn't bat an eye when I called him in a panic because I needed another day to load the truck -- the ... See Moremorning it was supposed to be taken away! If we ever move again, this company will be my only call. Although you are responsible for loading/unloading, I believe they'll also shoot you the names of companies who will do this for you. Thanks for taking all the stress away and for saving us hundreds on gas and tolls.
