How to Track Your U-Pack Shipment

By Jeremy
September 28th, 2011 - 3:54 PM
One benefit customer's love about U-Pack is the ability to easily track their shipment 24/7 while it's in transit.  There seems to be so much more peace of mind in knowing where your belongings are and when they're expected to arrive at your new home— especially if you've selected the money-saving estimated transit option.  Though you may not have a specific day it has to arrive, it stands to reason that it's at least helpful to know what to expect as it's traveling.

5 Best NFL Stadiums

September 14th, 2011 - 9:10 AM
It's football season.   Know how I know?  The DVR is full, my husband is glued to both his laptop and the television, and  most nights of the week include much more aggressive jumping and yelling that you would have seen last month, or the month before.   Of course, my husband is the manager of an NFL team…kind of.   Fantasy Football is alive and well at our house.

The U-Pack® College Packing List

September 12th, 2011 - 2:37 PM

You're sitting in the lavish, spacious bedroom of your parents' home— complete with private bath and walk-in closet.  You have a garage full of sports equipment, bikes, and plenty of storage space throughout.  Suddenly you realize your new dorm is about the same size as said closet (and you have to share it with a roommate)!

There will be no storage space.  There will barely be enough room to sleep and study.  What are you going to do without your 52" flat screen, the linen closet full of stuffed animals, and the Bowflex?  Welcome to college, baby!  It's called "roughing it."  Below is a list of essentials.  (You probably won't have room for much else.)

There are a few obvious distinctions between rental truck services like Budget® and "you pack, we drive" services like U-Pack – like the size of the equipment and the fact that you do the driving with a rental truck service and you don't with U-Pack. Here are some other differences that may not be quite so obvious:

Things to Donate When You're Moving

August 29th, 2011 - 1:30 PM

If you're like me, the idea of packing up one house to move to another sounds like a daunting task.  In fact, it makes me a little light-headed just thinking about it.  The thought of trying to figure out what to take with you and what to let go of is a little overwhelming, but the truth is, if you can let go of the things you don't need— the stuff that's just taking up precious space— you will help reduce moving costs in the long-run.
