I know; we’re always talking about plans around here. But experience tells us that when it comes to something as big as a move to a new city, knowing the how, when, and where of what’s going to happen is a huge game-changer.

What is the Cheapest Moving Option?

April 16th, 2012 - 9:48 AM

I wish there was a simple answer to that question. Though it leans toward being as complicated the age-old “What is the meaning of life?” question. But here’s what I can tell you (with confidence): the best place to start is by getting moving quotes. It sounds simple, doesn’t it? Before you can figure out which service is most affordable, you’ll need to have prices to compare. Just make sure to start early; I recommend at least 30-60 days in advance. That gives you plenty of time to research, weigh the pros and cons of each mover and make sure you’re getting all of the services you need (while still staying within your budget).
