Nashville for the Pepsi 300

By Josh J

The Weather Was NICE!!!
For what seemed like the first time this season, the weather actually cooperated as the Nationwide Series headed to the concrete superspeedway in Nashville, Tennessee. Both Jason Leffler and Denny Hamlin of Team ABF Racing were looking to bring home one of the coolest trophies on the circuit; a custom Les Paul designed Gibson guitar. Leffler already has one guitar from his first win in the 2004 Nationwide Series in Nashville. Hamlin has finished as high as third at the track, but has yet to visit Victory Lane.

Free Tools for Realtors

March 31st, 2008 - 3:18 PM

U-Pack and realtors share a common interest. We are both in the business of moving people out of one home and into another one.

Recently U-Pack was mentioned in Realtor Rightings, the Magazine of the Arkansas Realtors® Association. An article titled "Free Tools for Realtors" gave several tools that realtors can utilize on their web sites to improve the services provided to people that are buying and selling homes.

Sharpie Mini 300

Rain Rain Go Away!!!
For the 3rd time in five weeks, weather became the biggest factor for the race weekend. Due to rain, Thursday's practice and Qualifying were once again rained out, giving Team ABF Racing only one practice before taking the green flag on Saturday, and setting the starting field by the NASCAR rulebook. This meant that even though Kyle Busch in the #32 car was fourth fastest in practice, and Jason Leffler struggled in the #38 to a 20th place speed, based on last years owner points, Jason would start the race in 8th and Kyle in 14th.

Unusual Weekend at the Atlanta Motor Speedway

By Josh J
March 11th, 2008 - 9:46 AM

Team ABF Racing set their sights on the Nicorette 300 at the super-fast Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend. NASCAR standout Brian Vickers piloted the #32 ABF U-Pack Toyota, while Nationwide series regular Jason Leffler was behind the wheel of the #38 Braun Racing Camry as usual. The good news is that they didn't have the rains that they had in California to contend with. The bad news is that the temperature was below freezing for much of the weekend, and qualifying was cancelled due to SNOW!!!

More than Moving

March 5th, 2008 - 11:01 AM

When I talk to customers on the phone, one of the challenges is "listening between the lines". We help figure out what you need to do and how U-Pack can make that happen.

Some customers just need a moving quote from City A to City B in different states. Those calls are the most straight forward, although I do hear some funny stories at times- like a caller with an exotic bird that "doesn't fly and it doesn't fly" (don't feel bad, it took me about 15 seconds to catch up with what she meant, too). She wanted to use U-Pack so she could drive herself and her pet in the comfort of her own car.

A Tough Weekend in Vegas
Team ABF Racing headed to Las Vegas this weekend, as Brian Vickers returned to the track in the #32 along with Jason Leffler, who is piloting the #38 full time for Braun Racing.  Both cars were carrying ABF as an associate sponsor.  While both drivers came to Vegas hoping to win big, lady luck was not on their side.

Headed West - Week Two California

Brian Vickers and the ABF U-Pack Toyota Camry did not compete this week.  However, the #32 fielded this week by Kyle Busch, on loan from Joe Gibbs Racing, and the #38, fielded as always by Nationwide star Jason Leffler and carrying the major associate sponsorship of ABF, both took to the track for an unusual and prolonged race weekend.

Packing for Storage

February 21st, 2008 - 9:57 AM

If I'm storing my items, what should I take with me?

This question may seem like it's fairly easy to answer, but moving can be stressful so it's easy see how you might do something like accidentaly pack up your passport two weeks before leaving the country!  I recommend that before you pack for storage, you make a list to avoid forgetting something important – if you're doing container storage, once it's in storage it may not be possible to gain access to it.  Although everyone's list will vary, this list may prove helpful:

Season Opener at Daytona International Speedway

Close Call
Brian Vickers had more than one close call while piloting the ABF Toyota Camry this weekend. During final practice Brian veered left onto the infield to avoid a multi-car collision. At the same time, teammate Jason Leffler made a similar move, which meant that two of Braun Racings three entries for Daytona were spinning in what looked to be a synchronized maneuver at over 180mph! Thankfully, both cars escaped with little or no damage, and the teams decided to park both cars and save them for qualifying.

"What the heck is a linear foot"?

This question (worded one way or another) is probably asked by U-Pack customers more than any other question. However, even when I answer that it is one foot of length by eight feet wide by nine feet tall I still get "Huh?". I think that a mental picture is worth a thousand words of explanation.
