UPack made our move from Florida to Kentucky go as smoothly as possible. The communication from initial quote to the final pick-up of the trailer after unloading was top notch. They were patient with some of our questions and helped keep us up-to-date throughout the transport of our home items. We highly recommend!

My move was really different. Washington to Florida. In addition to a household, there was a complete woodshop with a couple of machines over thousand pounds each. The professional movers I tried last time had broken a couple machines. Their adjuster explained that machines like that needed professional equipment packers and serious trucks. And I needed to be able to store my stuff in Florida while I found and closed on a new house/shop. I had tried traditional moving companies (too expensive with storage rules that didn't work for me). And I had tried the 8x8 pods they drop off and pick up (not strong enough for heavy stuff). A container would have been perfect, but I didn't have room for one at either end... They don't work in residential neighborhoods. U-pack parked a real big rig style trailer with e-tracs inside and a wood floor in my driveway. And they stored the whole trailer for a reasonable price. Yes, I had to find and rent a fork lift to handle the heavy stuff, but it made loading the rest easy. My stuff is now safely in its new shop Best of all when I didn't need the whole trailer, they "bought" some of it back. Solved several impossible problems for me at an affordable price.

I chose U-Pack because it was the best value for my move from Austin to Portland. They were reliable, on time, and available to communicate about delivery and pickup. I underestimated how much the small ReLoCube would hold! If I'd had more boxes ready to go, they would have fit in the cube. Moving Staffers is affiliated with them; I was as happy with them as with U-Pack.
