I HAVE NEVER USED ANY COMPANY THAT WAS COMPLETELY SUPPORTIVE IN ANY ASPECT OF OUR MOVE. MYFAMILY AND I MOVED 18 TIMES DURING MY CAREER, AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE HAD THIS COMPANY TO MOVE US. THEY DELIVERED THE TWO POD CONTAINERS WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, PICKED THEM UP WHEN WE WANTED THEM TO, DELIVERED AND PICKED THEM UP AT OUR FINAL DESTINATION. AS A RETIRED FIRST SERGEANT, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY AND ALL INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES TO TRY THIS COMPANY U-PACK.

Moved from Houston, TX to Springfield, MO. Great customer service. Trailer arrived on time and delivered promptly. Rented 13' of trailer space and packed carefully - no damage whatsoever to any furniture or boxes. Highly recommend!

My first Upack move occurred one month ago from GA to PA and I packed a full trailer and that move went exceptionally well. I needed another trailer this month and requested the same drivers and U Pack honored that request as I have a 500 foot driveway on the GA side ( thanks Willie in Augusta) with very little access and my PA driveway req'd the driver (Jim in Altoona) to back the rig all the way up. E...  See Moreverything went very well and they actually used Old Dominion and the trailers are great with the adjustable platforms running the length of the trailer. I really can't say enough good things about the company and doing it twice really proves they are on the ball providing excellent service. I can't speak for those trying to coordinate movers etc but if you are packing it yourself this is by far the best way to go especially if you have a lot of stuff as I packed two trailers solid.

I had never heard of U-Pack/ABF Freight. I've used PODS once and U-Haul many times. A friend recommended the service. I had some trepidation, but the service was exactly as they told me. All four drivers and the three storage center reps were polite, friendly, and helpful. You wouldn’t think drivers would have good customer service skills. I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this service. Here are the benefits I found using U-Pack instead of U-Haul. There's no driving, no gas, no in...  See Moresurance worry, no pickup and no drop off, and no rush to load or unload. We anticipated storing our belongings for about week, which then turned into three weeks. I didn't have to find a storage unit and unload the U-Haul truck, only then to later rent another U-Haul, reload it all over again to deliver it to our house. These are substantial benefits, even if the cost is comparable. PODS is a similar and an excellent service, but there were clear benefits to U-Pack. U-Pack only charges you for the space you use. You just pack, put up the partition, and pay for what you use. If you pack tight, you save money, but there’s also no worry about running out of space. Most importantly, considering costs of the POD and storage, I estimate we saved around $1000 using U-Pack.

I recently had to organize a move for my daughter from Auburn Alabama to Murfreesboro Tennessee while living in Illinois. UPack ws efficient, reasonably priced, timely and answered all my myriad of questions for such a complicated three state move. I highly recommend them.

It was such a relief to leave our things in the U-Pack cubes, get in the car, and drive without everything trailing behind us. Much more economical than other movers. More economical than renting a truck for a cross-country move once accounting for gas prices (to say nothing of the strain of driving a moving truck!). The process was exactly as described by U-Pack customer service, and the amount charged was exactly what was contracted. The drop-off and pick-up people were very pleasant and e...  See Morefficient. They made moving (relatively) easy. We hired local movers to pack the cubes efficiently and to handle the heavy items, which made it a lot easier and still less expensive than other services. Make sure to get or rent lots of moving blankets for furniture, a decent number of tie-downs, and pack tight. It's worth it to have your items arrive undamaged. We double-boxed kitchen items. We were advised to pack the back of the cubes tight with boxes -- floor to ceiling -- and to add furniture items to the front of each cube. This allowed for tight packing of the cubes, which meant no damage to our items. We unpacked ourselves. They give you a few days to do it, which makes unpacking also more pleasant as you can unload a bit at a time and put it away as you go. The whole process was positive. I would recommend to anyone. We moved FL to WA with two cubes.

The Team in both Kernersville and Charlotte jumped through hoops to make a very difficult move very simple. The Drivers in Charlotte tucked the trailers into a spot I couldn't imaging was possible. Great job!!

Best moving experience I have had moving myself (I move a lot). The company was able to help me pretty last minute with a small window to pick up and drop off, and to top it off when plans had to change because of an accident the day of drop off they were patient and helpful. Everyone at customer service and both freight drivers were friendly and kind. They also hands down offered the best price. Can't beat this! Moving is stressful, but this experience took some of that stress away!

As many other reviews have stated, ABF and U-Pack are tremendous. The customer service is first-rate from the folks on the phone to the drivers who handle the cube on both ends of the move. The time to transit from Washington State to Virginia was faster than expected and the website allowed me to track the progress. The cube itself was sturdy and watertight. The inside vertical struts were perfect for attaching ratcheting straps so all of my load stayed put with no shifting or damage. I wholeheartedly recommend going with U-Pack if you want a smooth move of your belongings.
