This checklist is designed to make your U-Pack move easier. If you have any questions that are not addressed here, please contact your U-Pack Moving Coordinator at 800-355-1696.

BEFORE YOUR MOVE:

1. If you are making your move on a Trailer, make sure you have adequate parking for a 28' commercial trailer, which requires 14' overhead clearance. Trailer is 8' 6" wide, 9' tall, and approximately 48" off the ground.
   OR
   If you are making your move in a ReloCube^®, make sure you have adequate parking for the ReloCube which can generally fit into a standard parking space. ReloCubes are 6'3"D x 7'W x 8'4"H.
2. Order U-Pack moving boxes and supplies online or call 800-270-8193.
3. Call origin terminal two business days before move date.
1. Contact numbers are located on the U-Pack bill of lading.
2. Schedule approximate time for delivery of trailer.
3. If you hire professional labor, allow plenty of time for arrival of ABF trailer. It is recommended that you have the trailer dropped prior to the day your loaders are scheduled.

*** There is a $50.00 cancellation fee within 7 days prior to trailer spot date or a $150.00 cancellation fee if cancelled the day of the move.

*** INBOUND California moves only: Fill out and fax Gypsy Moth form at least 5 business days prior to spot date.

MOVING DAYS:

1. Responsible party needs to be present to sign for trailer or ReloCube and indicate parking.
2. Be aware of amount of space requested, mark trailer for footage if helpful. (trailer moves only)
3. Load trailer or ReloCube. *Recommendation: Cover entire merchandise with tarp or plastic cover.
4. Install bulkhead (dividing wall) in trailer.
5. Load ramp after bulkhead is installed (trailer moves only).
6. Call origin terminal and let them know when trailer will be ready for pickup (phone number on the U-Pack bill of lading).
7. Sign and date the U-Pack bill of lading (be sure to fill in actual footage used if moving on a trailer) and give to driver.
8. Leave the completed U-Pack bill of lading inside trailer if unable to be present at time of pickup.

DURING TRANSIT:

1. You can trace your shipment online or call 1-800-367-2237. *Transit time on the U-Pack bill of lading is estimated (day of pickup, weekends and/or holidays not included).
2. Communicate any changes on the U-Pack bill of lading to U-Pack at 800-240-7422.

AT DESTINATION:

1. Call destination terminal to arrange delivery (phone number on the U-Pack bill of lading).
2. Sign delivery receipt from driver (verify billed footage and charges).
3. Remove bulkhead.
4. Unload your shipment and call destination terminal when empty equipment is ready for pickup.

*** As noted in your U-Pack bill of lading, your rate includes limited liability coverage. Please call us if you have questions about the coverage, or you can review the liability statement online. The best protection you can provide for your goods is proper packing and loading. The Moving Resource Center includes packing and loading tips, as well as instructions for installing your bulkhead.
