Many beaches could be perfect spots for downtime in Hawaii.

Beach lovers who are considering relocating to Hawaii may be in store for quite a bit of fun. The island chain is filled with some of the best beach areas throughout the country. This could be a great destination for those who want to be in a place that has more areas to explore than they can count. The many different choices may be a good spot, as those who have a love for the warm weather year-round may really benefit from getting their moving containers and scheduling a relocation to the Hawaiian Islands.

Lanikai Beach, Oahu
One place to start when looking for a perfect beach in Hawaii is one of its largest islands. On Oahu is Lanikai Beach. This section is considered to being one of the best options if you like swimming, or just hanging out taking in some sun, according to Best Places Hawaii. This area is approximately one mile long, so you may just be able to find a little section of the beach to keep to yourself. There is also a notable view of other islands in the distance.

Poipu Beach Park, Kauai
Heading west to Kauai can give you one of the top beach spots in the western part of the island chain. This island is the home of  Poipu Beach Park, which may have everything you and your family could want. According to Hawaii Gaga, this spot has not only a section for regular swimming, but also a closed off area that may be better if you have small kids. Additionally, there are some times while at the water where surfing is a great activity. It is also possible to check out different types of sealife in the area, including seals.

Hanauma Bay, Oahu
Another good option for those who are traveling to Oahu is to check out one of the many bays in the area. Specifically, Hanauma Bay may be a good choice, though it is quite popular. According to Best Places Hawaii, the spot is a staple for exploring the underwater areas through snokerling, as well as staying above the water and sunbathing or swimming. Because of the popularity, the local government put some restrictions on the area, in order to keep its beauty. Though, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the area.

Kaanapali Beach, Maui
Traveling east will bring you to the second-largest island in the Hawaiian chain, and it, like the rest of the area, has some top beach destinations. Maui is the home of one of these spots, Kaanapali Beach. This spot is more than 1 mile long, which can give you plenty of ways to get everything you need out of a beach area, according to Hawaii Gaga. This spot is filled with those who like recreational activities, including surfing, sailing and even volleyball on the beach. This is a spot that actually gets quite animated around the holidays, but you should be able to enjoy this stretch for much of the year.

Papohaku Beach, Molokai
In the central part of the island chain is Molokai, and this island is the home of Papohaku Beach. It has a significant amount of beach, and is also many different types of shore life, according to Best Places Hawaii. While swimming and sunbathing are common, there are many other activities to check out. Here is a good spot for those who love surfing, or the tamer forms of riding the waves, such as body surfing.
