I lived in Deerwalk growing up as a kid , I sure miss that place and though I only live minutes away , it is hard to find time to re-visit this wonderful little place . I spent the better part of 23 years there and the people are great. Reeses country store was the best place all around for the local Gossip and good friends to gather for a bite to eat , telling old war stories or just plain laughter. The folks on the fire department which help make up the Deerwalk area , are just as friendly. My father was one of the founding members of this department and growing up, the fire fighters were all just a large family united by the will to provide to those who needed it.
