Fulton, MO is a small city (the population is around 12,000) with a lot going on during the school year. When you go, be sure to eat at Bek?s, a great restaurant on Court Street that has delicious parmesan artichoke dip. I went to college at Westminster College which is home of the Winston Churchill memorial and the location where he delivered his famous Iron Curtain speech but there is one other college, William Woods, and two high schools ? Fulton HS (home of the hornets) and the Missouri School for the Deaf. The city has a very interesting history seeing as the county it is in (The Kingdom of Callaway) declared itself pro-Confederate and even defended itself against Union soldiers during the Civil War. It is only about 2 hours from St. Louis, 30 min. from Columbia, MO and 2.5 hours from Kansas City so it is easy to get to major cities and it has a Wal-Mart (essential for college survival).
