When it comes to relocating, any time-saver is sure to be welcomed. That's why it's important to see if any moving services
being employed by a consumer engage in partnerships with other participating businesses.
One business person decided to do just that when a storage
and rental moving truck service opened up nearby. Alberta, Canada's Airway Motel owner Suzanne Seliga joined forces with the newly opened U-Haul, offering their equipment for customers who may be staying at her place of hospitality.
"I decided to give it a try when the dealership became available," Seliga said. "Plus, there's space available adjacent to the motel," she added.
Besides being convenient, this type of partnership is also viewed as environmentally friendly because it reduces the distances customers have to travel, U-Haul said. Those looking for an eco-alternative for moving may want to seek out companies that offer this sort of service.
One Colorado man took eco-friendly moving to a new extreme recently. He, along with some friends, moved the entire contents of his home to the new residence using storage containers
hauled entirely by bicycles.
