Lebron James recently purchased a $9 million mansion in Miami.
Former Cleveland Cavalier and current Miami Heat star LeBron James will be moving into his $9 million home on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove Miami, Florida, according to a report from Alex Shay, a Miami real estate broker.
The report noted that the waterfront home has 12,178-square-foot area of living space, six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms. Also, the house has a wine cellar, library, home theater, three-car garage and a guest house. An infinity pool, bar and a dock that can hold two 60-foot yachts is also part of the luxurious mansion on the bay.
The lot is just under 20,000 square-feet, according to the report. It was noted that every room in the home has a view of the ocean. The home was previously bought in 2005 for $3.5 million, but that house was razed, and this new home was built, says the report. The previous owner listed it at the start of 2010 for $12.9 million, then reduced the price to $11.9 million, but then ended up selling the three-story mansion for $9 million to James.
Notable residents who lived in the Coconut Grove area at one point include Jimmy Buffett, Robert Frost, David Crosby and Alexander Graham Bell, according to CoconutGrove.com.
