Golden State Warriors center Kwame Brown recently sold his Playa del Rey, California, home after signing with the Warriors in a one-year, $7 million deal.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the former Lakers center sold the mansion for $1.65 million. Though the Warriors are based upstate in the San Francisco Bay area, Brown may have to employ cross country movers to get there, as he has most recently been playing for the Charlotte Bobcats.

The home has an ocean view and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms in 6,329 square feet of space. On the market since 2008, the estate was originally listed for sale at $2.99 million or for lease at $12,000 a month, the Times reported.

The most recent description of the home stated that it suffered from water damage on the main level and needed a new roof, windows, doors and elevator, according to the L.A. Times.

The source stated that the home also features a breakfast bar that can seat up to 10 people and the basement media room has a built-in projector and wet bar. The 29-year-old NBA veteran purchased the property in 2005 for close to $3.38 million, four years after being named the first pick in the 2001 NBA draft.

The average value of homes in Playa Del Ray is $535,300, according to Zillow.
