The 55-year-old radio jockey's former home is 6,000 square feet and has six bedrooms and five bathrooms, according to the Los Angeles Times. Features of the home include patios, balconies, an office and media room. The home sits on 1.6 acres of land and also has a swimming pool, hot tub and sports court in addition to breathtaking ocean views and many other amenities.
Although Brandmeier became a staple on Los Angeles radio in recent years, the broadcaster began his career in Chicago and moved back to the Windy City to host the WGN-AM morning show, the Times reported.
According to public records obtained by the L.A. Times, Brandmeier bought the property, which also includes an art studio and koi pond, in 1997 for $2.67 million.
Brandmeier joins a list of celebrities who hope to be packing up and moving out of houses in the Malibu area. Comedian David Spade also recently listed his Malibu property for $13.5 million and consultant Shary Nassimi and his wife Esther listed their home in the same neighborhood for $15 million.
