The record producer listed the Spanish-style 3,813-square-foot estate for $4.75 million.
The estate was built in 1920 and was a speak easy before Anderle moved in. The home features decorative tile work and beamed ceilings, in addition to three bedrooms and four bathrooms. It sits on a third of an acre, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Anderle is a former A&M Records executive who paved the way for many artists to be successful in the music industry, such as Rita Coolidge, Kris Kristofferson and the Circle Jerks. He also formed Brother Records with Brian Wilson and is known for his work on the 1980s movie "The Breakfast Club."
Rihanna also recently sold a mansion in Hollywood Hills for $4.5 million. The pop superstar will likely require more moving boxes than Anderle to pack up her estate, which occupies nearly 4 acres.
Trulia puts the average listing price for a Hollywood Hills home at about $2 million and the median sales price at $836,400. There are currently 446 homes for sale in the neighborhood and 113 in foreclosure, according to the website.
