Rockwell County, Texas has attracted homebuyers with its vibrant community life, while Flagler County, Florida is where retirees are finding themselves, CNN said. Loudoun County, Virginia houses a lot of D.C. workers that hate the commute but like the cheaper prices in the area.
Other counties in the U.S. with growing populations include Douglas County, Colorado; Lincoln County, South Dakota; Williamson County, Texas; and Forsyth and Paulding counties in Georgia, CNN said. One thing that all of these places have in common is their affordability factor.
The cost to live in a certain area should always be considered before deciding to move there. Consumers should look into housing prices, average utility bills, and insurance costs just to start.
