According to sources in touch with the New York Daily News, former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston is in the real estate market and has already put bids on a number of apartments in the Big Apple. In fact, the paper says, she has either bought or is close to buying a a $14.9 million penthouse in the West Village.
The luxurious estate boasts an array of amenities, like a baby nursery, a master bedroom suite, full skyline and city views, two outdoor rooftop patios, herringbone floors and fireplaces.
Prudential Douglas Elliman, the real estate broker involved in the apartment's sale, tells the paper official documents haven't been signed and neither confirmed nor denied if Aniston made an offer.
Though New York City can be extremely expensive, the rate of homeownership in the city is quite high. According to CoreLogic, only 4 percent of homes in Manhattan are considered underwater.
