During that transition, the U-Haul Company of Oklahoma City is providing 30 days of free storage to the state's residents whose homes or businesses incurred damage from the flooding. The company widely known for its truck rental service said families should get in touch with their Quail Springs and Hefner centers in Oklahoma City.
U-Haul Company of Oklahoma City president Brett Hogan said that "these floods have caused tremendous damage to the communities we serve. I hope this effort will provide assistance to families that truly need a helping hand if their homes or businesses were affected by these floods."
The company will also offer its U-Haul Take a Box, Leave a Box Program. This free service lets people return reusable boxes for others to take if needed. U-Haul will also make propane available to customers since they believe having it can be useful during storms.
U-Haul also provides other moving supplies such as dollies and hand trucks.
