Prevent injuries using moving straps
If you have large pieces of furniture to move, you may be wondering how to handle it. You could hire movers or rent a furniture dolly. However, for furniture that’s big or heavy, the easiest way to move it is by using furniture straps. Our Forearm Forklift straps are heavy-duty nylon straps that use leverage, not strength, to lift items. They help prevent injury by allowing you to bend at the knees when you lift, and by reducing the load up to 66%. Is a passport required to move to Canada?
Not always – it depends on how you plan to get there. The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative requires U.S. travelers to present documents proving their citizenship. Ideally, this is a passport, but you may be able to use other documents depending on your mode of transportation. However, the Canadian Border Patrol recommends you carry your passport if you travel internationally, regardless of your transportation choice and the requirements.
Note: If you don’t have your passport and need one quick, be sure to check passport processing times. Routine and expedited service times can vary based on the time of the year.
Let’s look at each mode of transportation and what documents are required when entering Canada.

Why use wardrobe boxes for moving?
If you have hanging clothes to move, the easiest and safest way to do that is to use wardrobe boxes. They’re tall boxes with a hanging rod that keep clothes protected from damage. Keep in mind that using the ever-popular “trash bag method” to move your clothes makes them wrinkled, and it’s easy to tear through the bag (and tear your clothes!) without sturdy protection. Using wardrobe boxes for moving also makes it simple to transfer clothing from the closet to the box, and then into the new closet. Let’s figure out how many wardrobe moving boxes you need, how to use wardrobe boxes, and where to order them at a discount.
