We just used U-Pack to move from California to Arizona and I could not be happier with their service. The dispatcher in CA was very friendly and professional, as well as the one in AZ. The pods were delivered/picked up during the time frames we were given, the U-Pack pod arrived in AZ before us and was held until we arrived at no extra cost. I highly recommend U-Pack. Just remember, YOU are responsible for loading your pod and making sure everything is secure inside. We packed ours tightly and still need another one for stuff that we left in CA with family.
I thoroughly researched my move from New York York Florida...or at least I thought I did! I scouted out my new apartment on a trip to Florida in August, set the date for my move six weeks later, researched the size and cost of a moving pod with Uhaul and U~Pack, and decided U~Pack was the most economic way to go. I came home and sold my furniture and excess personal belongings with the understanding that everything I wanted to take with me had to fit in a 7x7x7 Pod. I made enough money fro... See Morem on-line and physical yard sales to facilitate the move! September 27th was confirmed as the move date and Sept 24th would be the date U~Pack came would drop off my pod. Imaging my surprise when a semi with ABF Freight on the side came pulling up to the front door to drop off a 28 foot trailer! I told the driver there must've been some mistake and asked if the pod was inside the trailer. This patient sweetheart of a driver explained that my bill of lading indicated that I'd contracted for 7 feet of space in a 28 foot trailer instead of a ReloCube, (a term I'd never even encountered when setting up the move!) and I had 3 days to load it. To make a long story short, the heavens opened up and smiled on me. I was able to get the keys to my apartment on Friday September 29 (instead of Oct 14 as originally planned) and my trailer came promptly on Monday, October 2nd! A little mix up occurred with the address which I'd changed just before leaving NY, but no biggie...within 1/2 hour a lovely "Jersey Boy" as he called himself, delivered all my worldly goods to my new front door! Thank you U~Pack!🤗 I would definitely recommend your company to anyone making a long distance move
We moved cottage furniture and antiques from Ohio to my daughter's house in Seattle. This was the most economical and quick way to send everything. I would recommend this company highly.
U-Pack was one of our best moving choices we made. We got a great deal compared to all of the other options out there. In a lot of cases it was half the cost! When our trailer was dropped off, the driver took the time to explain the whole process and provide us with tons of valuable tips to make the move from WA to NC smooth. I wasn't sure if our experience in WA was unique until I got to NC and had the same great experience with the guy delivering the trailer right to our storage facility! Great service from scheduling, drivers, to dispatch.
I don't think I've ever left a Facebook review before, but I have moved twice now with this company and only have wonderful things to say; the price is competitive, everyone I interacted with during my moves (on the phone, in person, including customer service, the guys at the loading dock, the forklift drivers who dropped off my stuff, etc.) was kind, responsive, and super professional. Just a totally refreshing experience.
