It was a little stressful for us as newbies, but it all worked out very nicely. The company provided every thing and every service they said they would. Our only hitch was that we bought rope before the cubes came, and that rope was too thick to use with the structure of the cubes. You need THIN rope, maybe 1/4 inch. And don't try to time everything perfectly, because ABF doesn't operate on the weekends and the way trucking firms operate, they don't necessarily load your stuff and go straight... See More to your new address. They may have to wait for more loads to fill their trucks. They can't just drive one or two cubes all the way across the nation. They have to strive to have every truck full. But they are very lenient with you about the amount of time you need to load and unload.
What a great service for moving. Not only did we save money over U-Haul, we didn't have to drive a gas guzzling huge truck. Professional drivers did. From start to finish, great and easy services! Thank you ABF!!!
I recently hired U-Pack for a move from Tacoma WA to Charlotte NC. I was very skeptical about hiring another moving company after being scammed out of my money by Jet Blue Relocation Inc (now operating under a new name) U-Pack my thenprocess very easy for me when decideing to go with them. The information they provided was laid out clearly. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few of the representatives that I spoke to could work on their customer service skills but overall a great experience.
Everyone I worked with throughout my move was super helpful and courteous. I did a lot of research about how to move from Wheaton, IL to Longmont, CO and UPack offered the best price and service options. I was especially grateful that their customer service agents bent over backwards to make sure that my relocube was delivered within the timeframe originally offered, even though it was a very busy holiday period and they were running behind.
