Actress Rose McGowan recently purchased a Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles for close to $1.39 million.
Though she recently appeared on "Law and Order, SVU," set in New York City, McGowan will not be moving cross country
to inhabit her new 3,000-square-foot home, which is a mid-century modern house. She is relocating from digs in nearby Los Feliz, where she sold her home for more than $1.7 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Her new estate features a two-story glass entry, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It also has an outdoor living area that includes a fireplace, which could be used for entertainment purposes once the weather warms.
McGowan, who is 38 years old, is known for her roles in the 1999 film "Jawbreaker," the 2007 film "Grindhouse" and "Conan the Barbarian," which was released in 2011.
McGowan has also played roles on TV, including on "Nip/Tuck" in 2009.
Entertainer Chris Brown also recently purchased a home in the Hollwood Hills area, for $1.55 million.
The average value of a home in Hollywood Hills is $996,500, according to Zillow.
