The NBA star was recently traded from the New Orleans Hornets to the Clippers before purchasing Lavigne's former home for close to $8.5 million.
The home was only in escrow for three days, according to the Multiple Listing Service. The Mediterranean-style estate sits on more than half an acre and has 12,184 square feet of living space. The mansion was built in 2003 and features eight bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms, in addition to a two-story foyer, wine cellar and tasting room.
The home was first placed on the market in May for $9.5 million and had been reduced to $8.9 million. Lavigne purchased the house with her ex-husband Deryck Whibley for $9.5 million in 2007.
The median sales price for homes in Bel-Air for October to December 2011 was more than $1.5 million according to Trulia.
