In a move that might be an outcome of the ongoing NBA lockout, Miami Heat forward Mike Miller is packing up and selling his home in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The six-foot-eight athlete has placed his 9,968-square-foot estate on the market for almost $9 million.

After signing a five-year, $25 million contract with the Miami Heat in 2011, the 11-year NBA veteran purchased the home for $5.4 million, according to Realtor.com.

The home features a view of the ocean, a pool, private boat dock, 10 bedrooms and six bathrooms. The interior has cathedral-ceilings and marble throughout, and luxury amenities include butlers quarters and a raised Roman bathtub in the master suite bathroom, Realtor.com reported.

Miller has been with five NBA teams and had just got settled with the Miami Heat, who came within one game of winning the NBA Championship in 2011. In addition to living in the Florida area, he's also played with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards.

According to Zillow.com, the average value of a home in West Palm Beach is $105,700.
