The company says that while many of its employees will be moving closer to the new office, it told the Contra Costa Times that it will work to coordinate car and van pools for employees to get to the new office in the interim.
"It makes geographic sense, it makes business sense and, most importantly, it makes sense from an employee working-condition perspective and from a customer-service perspective," David Travers, the company's executive vice president of operations, told the Times in a statement.
Officials told the Ventura County Star that the relocation process is expected to be fully completed by early next year.
The move will allow the company to take advantage of excess space at the Woodland Hills building, which the company acquired from 21st Century Insurance last year.
