Bloom reportedly paid $1.2 million for the gated home, according to the Los Angeles Times. The property is a one-story house that was built in the early 1960s, and sits on a knoll with landscaped grounds that have been developed over a 30-year period.
The 2,400-square-foot house has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a formal living and dining room, the source stated. In addition to completely remodeled bathrooms and a kitchen, the home also features a breakfast room, den, waterfall, fountain, deck and black-bottom pool, the Times reported.
The 41-year-old Bloom also appeared in the films "Smoking Aces" in 2006 and "Once Upon a Time in America" in 1984. Recently he's done voice-over work for a number of video games and animated television series. He started his career as a soap opera star, playing Dusty Donovan on the popular show "As the World Turns," from 1983 to 1988.
The average value for a home in Encino is $483,800, according to Zillow.com.
