The apartment occupies space on the 59th and 60th floors of the Fifth Avenue Tower. According to the paper, it contains a 30-foot living room with windows that offer views of the park, the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty.
It was the third time in the last 10 years Lloyd Webber had put the home on the market, but brokers told the paper that this time, the composer was "emotionally ready" to let go of the property.
The paper reports that the composer's representatives generally don't comment when asked about the apartment. The buyer who will be moving in wasn't known.
Lloyd Webber and his family have been re-evaluating their assets after the composer's battle with prostate cancer. Earlier this year, he was given the "all clear" by doctors after successful surgery to remove his prostate gland in October of last year.
