Greene's Spanish-style classic estate was also once called home by director King Vidor and actress Helen Hayes, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The 1,800-square-foot residence features an eat-in kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms in addition to a rooftop deck, two patios and a rose and vegetable garden, the Times reported. The home was built in 1923 and retains the original Batchelder tile fireplace, ceilings and expansive windows.
The 49-year-old actress sold the home to relocate and write her next novel, according to the Times. After waiting for months while the house was on the market at its original $1.05 million asking price, Greene can finally start packing moving boxes to relocate from the residence.
The average list price in West Hollywood is $539,000, according to Zillow.com.
