In a joint press release, Trulia.com and RE/MAX announced a strategic partnership wherein the two real estate services will combine housing listings so people can look for homes in one convenient place.
Georg Gerstenfeld, vice president for Trulia.com's business services, said he believes the collaboration will add value to the buying, selling and searching market for house hunters.
"Our new partnership with RE/MAX allows Trulia to provide comprehensive listing data to our highly engaged consumer audience and help these buyers and sellers connect in a meaningful way with RE/MAX agents," Gerstenfeld said.
Marnie Blano, RE/MAX vice president of eBusiness, had similar sentiments, saying the joint venture will improve consumers' experience online and provides new and exciting opportunities for the companies now and into the future.
Last month, two other real estate services joined forces, Zillow.com and Yahoo Real Estate. According to Media Metrix Core Reports, the companies share the largest real estate network that's available on the web.
