That's exactly what some people might be doing after seeing CNN Money's list for the areas with the most job opportunities. Ranking first was Lincoln County, South Dakota. This area saw a 67 percent rate of job growth from 2000 to 2009.
CNN's second-ranked spot in the country was Williamson County, Texas. There was a 58.9 percent rate of job growth from 2000 to 2009, and Dell is the largest employer in this area. This southern location tends to draw more technology industry employers.
Texas hit the employment jackpot again with its own Hays County coming in third on CNN's list. With a 56.4 percent rate of job growth between 2000 and 2009, it's not hard to see why young college graduates are drawn to this area. There are plenty of opportunities for those working in the retail industry.
Job growth hasn't been meeting many Americans' expectations, so moving to an area with plenty of employment opportunities may be something worth seriously considering.
