Tony Bennett, the iconic crooner who in recent years has recorded duets with contemporary pop stars, might be moved to sing a song with rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs if they both sell the homes they have on the market.
The house Bennett has listed for $27.5 million is located just outside San Francisco, in the exclusive enclave of Belvedere, California, real estate company Trulia reports. The 5-bedroom, 7-bath house, designed by Warren Callister, is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but the panoramic view of San Francisco Bay, the city skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge might be the primary selling point.
At $13.5 million, the price tag on Diddy's Alpine, New Jersey, estate is not as eye-popping as Bennett's, but ContactMusic.com reports the rapper is poised to make a pretty profit on the sale. Diddy bought the 26-room, 17,000 square foot house from entrepreneur Mark Arzoomanian for $10 million, according to the news source. Among the house's many rooms are a full-size gymnasium and a movie theatre, Trulia reports.
Bennett's listing might come at an opportune moment, as Coldwell Banker recently reported luxury home sales are increasing in the San Francisco area.
