The legendary talk-show host recently placed the eight-room co-op unit on the rental market for $15,000 a month.
Winfrey never lived in the 4,607-square-foot co-op, which she paid $5.6 million for in 2006. After the purchase, she continued to reside in a nearby duplex. Since she ended her long-running Chicago-based talk show earlier in the year, Winfrey has spent most of her time in California and Hawaii.
The co-op has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two half-baths, 10-foot ceilings and two fireplaces. The unit is on the sixth floor of a 13-unit, 1913 building designed by architect Benjamin Marshall.
The unit also features a library, solarium, butler's pantry and 1,241-square-foot master bedroom with his and her bathrooms.
According to Zillow.com, the average price for a home in the Streeterville neighborhood is $291,800.
