Move into an affordable home

As housing prices and mortgage interest rates continue to stay at low levels, many may be wondering where they can get the most house for their money. CNN Money recently listed their top 25 locations in the U.S. with the most affordable homes.

Coming in at the top spot is Deerfield Beach, Florida. The average home price is $67,000, according to CNN. If a person wants something close to or on the water, that may be more of a possibility now as well. Many of the waterfront properties in this area were previously unaffordable for many people, but now prices are half of what they were before the collapse of the housing market.

Deerfield Beach would be the ideal location to move to for anyone who loves the ocean and temperate weather. Beaches in this area are "pristine and completely open to the public," CNN said.

Moving to Deerfield Beach also provides other monetary benefits for its residents. Florida is known for its ability to attract people because there are no income taxes in the state.
