Moving trucks may be seen outside the Beverly Hills mansion, which was rented out by Jackson from December 2008 until his death in June 2009. The King of Pop lived there with his three children.
The home was fully furnished when the singer rented it. Now, the furniture from the mansion, including the bed he passed away in, is being auctioned off.
The mansion has six bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, a wine cellar, spa, swimming pool and an outdoor garden.
The 54,885-square-foot mansion was loved by Jackson because it reminded him of Neverland Ranch, the director of Julien’s Auctions, Martin Nolan, told The Associated Press. Julien's has been chosen to sell all of Jackson's belongings.
The home still contains personal notes written by Jackson to himself and notes from his children.
Homes in the area where Jackson lived are valued around $18 million, Relocation.com reported. The average price for a home in Beverly Hills is more than $1.9 million, according to Zillow.com.
