Janet Leigh was probably most well-known for her role as Marion Crane, a murder victim in the film "Psycho," but she was featured in more than 80 movies before she died in October of 2004 at the age of 77.
The former Leigh mansion was built in 1976 and has an ocean view. The 4,432-square-foot mansion also features high ceilings, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, swimming pool and tennis court, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The deceased actress' home was last sold in 2010 for $2.8 million, according to the Times.
Janet Leigh was married to actor Tony Curtis for 11 years and is the mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis.
According to HomeInsight.com, the median price for a Beverly Hills home is more than $1.3 million.
