ABC's "Extreme Home Makeover" brings dreams to life for families throughout the United States by providing them the opportunity to have their houses rebuilt to fit their standards. Recently, one of these houses was put on the market, PhillyBurbs.com reported.
The Kilgallon family had their termite infested Middletown, Ohio, home demolished and rebuilt on the show in 2007. The family received a three-story, four-bedroom mansion they are now moving out of, according to PhillyBurbs.
Marynoel Kilgallon purchased the Middletown home for $220,000 and is now selling it for $450,000, according to real estate listings. The home was rebuilt with a master suite with a jacuzzi tub and wall-mounted jets in the shower, and custom children's bedrooms, the source reports.
PhillyBurbs.com was unable to reach the Kilgallons and ABC declined to comment.
The Kilgallons' home was truly turned around by its extreme makeover, as its price now far surpasses the $107,237 listing price that Trulia reported was the average for Middletown properties as of October 19.
