The sprawling 26-acre, eight-cottage estate that talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have called home since 2009 has officially been listed on the market after a few months of being a pocket listing. The two are asking $16.5 million for the Hidden Valley, California, estate.
"This is where Ellen and I come almost every weekend just to get away from it all," de Rossi said of the estate during an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." "It’s been the most amazing, relaxing place for us. It’s my most favorite place on earth."
The estate has a focus on horseback riding, with a stable for 12 horses, a stable lounge, jumping arenas and a judges' stand. It also has a windmill, tree house, basketball hoop, tennis court and a yoga pavilion. According to Realtor.com, DeGeneres bought the home in 2009 for $10 million.Moving trucks
