Trump originally listed the California house for $12 million, but lowered the price to attract more potential buyers.
The former estate of the 65-year-old Trump features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an infinity pool and a bar that is an exact replica of the one at the clubhouse of Trump National Golf Course, located beside the house. The home is 11,000 square feet and designed in a U-shape, so looking out of each window gives a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean or the golf course.
Trump bought the 3-acre site where the golf course sits in 2002 for an estimated $27 million.
After purchasing the estate, he planned on building more homes on the land, which was met with disapproval from the town, which thought building more homes would increase the threat of landslides. The Palos Verdes estate has 75 lots for other homes.
Trump splits time between his homes in New York and Los Angeles.
