Schwimmer listed the 11,000-square-foot home for an asking price of $10.7 million.
The estate was built in 1926 by architectural firm Koerner & Gage with the assistance of John Austin and Frederick M. Ashley, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The interior has nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, a state-of-the-art screening room and wood-paneled library. The exterior features a swimming pool, tennis court and a pavilion.
The home also has a guest house detached from the main building, which has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen.
Schwimmer bought the house for $5.6 million in 2001, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Schwimmer is the second celebrity resident of Hancock Park who may soon be packing up moving boxes, along with songwriter Allan Dennis Rich, who recently placed his condo on the market.
