Recent college graduates should move to areas where there's plenty of job opportunities.
Graduation season has ended and most students are wondering where they should move to.

Forbes just released "America's Best Cities for Young Professionals" and a number of places across the country popped up. Students are encouraged to relocate everywhere from Washington, D.C. to Houston to Minneapolis. Almost 10 percent of recent graduates are looking at the possibility of unemployment, so picking an economically-viable city to live in is key, according to Forbes.

The cities chosen by Forbes were picked based on job prospects, affordability, and higher incomes. These areas also boast populations of over 1 million and house some of the largest companies in the country, Forbes said.

Three of the top 10 cities were found in Texas, including Houston (number one), Austin, and Dallas, Forbes said. On the East Coast, Washington, D.C., Boston, and New York City proved to be good place for recent college graduates to start a career. Minneapolis-Saint Paul took the top ranking in the Midwest and Atlanta is the South's hot spot for young professionals. Going further west, Denver and Seattle proved to have good employment opportunities.

When young graduates relocate to a new area, they should research all their moving choices for the most affordable options.ADNFCR-3450-ID-19850315-ADNFCR
