The Lewisville Independent School District in Lewisville, TX serves the city of Highland Village and is comprised of over 58 schools with 50,000 students. In 2003, Highland Village became a member of the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) which provides Commuter Express coach service to the nearby cities of Denton and Dallas. Additionally, last year, the Highland Village/Lewisville Lake Station opened as a commuter rail station on DCTA’s A-train. However, if you prefer to drive, Highland Village is connected to Interstate 35E which leads north and south to other major areas of Texas to make getting around the city and nearby a cinch!

Even though Highland Village is small, it is home to several delicious local restaurants. In Highland Village, you can find anything from authentic Mexican food to Tex-Mex to Japanese. Just some of the restaurants you might want to try out include Patrizio’s, Blue Goose Cantina, Pei Wei Asian Diner, Rosa’s Cafe, Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar, Rockfish Seafood Grill, Sushi Fugu and Nestle Tollhouse Cafe.
