Aurora is a principal suburb of Denver and a major player in the metro area with a population of over 325,000 people.  That makes it the third largest city in Colorado, just behind Colorado Springs.  It is actually larger than many more well-known standalone cities such as Orlando, Rochester, and Salt Lake City.  If you are looking for well-rounded lifestyles, tolerable weather patterns, flourishing educational centers, people with hard-working attitudes, and an inviting night life, moving to Aurora, CO is just right for you.

Moving to Aurora, CO—Quick Notes

  • Climate—The winter is the most difficult season for this region.  Temperatures stay low and snowfall is plentiful.  Compared to many other cities in the country, the rest of the year is mild and enjoyable.
  • Transportation—Aurora is actually closer to the Denver International Airport than most parts of Denver.  There are already two light rail stops in Aurora.  The city is also in the path of a new set of tracks that will be constructed to connect downtown Denver with the airport.  This is scheduled to be completed by 2017.
  • Recreation—Don’t worry about having nothing to do after moving to Aurora, CO.  The city is overflowing with outdoor activities alone!  1,800 acres of developed park land, more than 6,000 acres of green space, and seven award-winning municipal golf courses are operated by the city.
  • Shopping—Residents of the area love Aurora’s Southlands Mall.  If you are moving to Aurora with an addiction to shopping, you’ll fit right in.  It is an outdoor mall featuring such stores as Gap, Yankee Candle, JCPenney, Talbot’s, American Eagle, and TJ Maxx.

I found aout about your services from a friend. And when my time came to move I did look other places, but for the price you all were much better. Even when problems arose, they were quickly taken care of and any and all information I asked for was given to me. Thanks so much I would highly recommend ABF for who are able to pack and move things themselves. I was better than driving a big truck my-self or having family do it. It was just such a wonderful experience. I was richly blessed. God had His hand on this move. Thanks for being apart of it.
