Getting around in Baytown is easier than ever with Harris County Transit service.  Harris County Transit is Baytown’s state of the art bus service to get you around town.  They offer fixed route service Monday through Friday.   Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County also services Baytown and takes commuters to downtown Houston.  Baytown also has a division of Greyhound Bus Lines as well as a privately owned general aviation airport.                         

You have several choices when it comes to dining in BaytownThe city offers a variety of restaurant choices ranging from American to Sushi and everything in between. After your move to the area, you’ll definitely want to try The Red Fox, Texas Coastal Cuisine.  The Red Fox is an upscale, casual dining restaurant where the atmosphere is relaxed, refined and all about Texas.  They have a comfort cuisine buffet for lunch complete with chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, and even fried chicken.  Their dinner menu has many delicious options such as Southern Style Creole Seafood Etouffee, stuffed flounder, country friend venison, steaks, burgers and more!         

Baytown has several quaint shops and boutiques such as Mirabellas Clothing Boutique and Queen Esther’s Boutique and the 1.2 million square foot San Jacinto Mall—anchored by JC Penney, Sears, Macy’s and Palais Royal.  It also has over 100 specialty retailers, a food court, play area for the kids and an 11 screen cinema.
